Hurricane Hazel, One Family's Story

In my book, Hurricane Hazel, One Family’s Story, I attempt to show what can happen when governments don’t understand the value of agricultural land, floodplain and wetlands. Building on this land will cause heartache as houses flood, and rivers are overwhelmed with runoff. Pavement does not absorb water and floods are happening more often with climate change. When I wrote this historical fiction I hoped many would read it and I understand why we must stop development of these lands.
