Hurricane Hazel, One Family's Story

When I see my dog picking up in our patterns I wonder why humans are so slow at doing the same. My historical fiction novel, Hurricane Hazel, One Family’s Story, tells us what happened when we built housing in the way of water… of unexpected natural disasters. The Ford government has given away land to developers that will potentially see housing owners with flooded homes, will ruin wetlands, and remove protections that are currently in place. Agricultural lands need to remain that way.
